We are looking to appoint an experienced and successful secondary Headteacher to provide professional leadership and management for our schools and develop the talent to ensure all schools continue to improve, as well as develop the talent we need to sustain our trust’s growth.

You will be working directly in schools requiring urgent stabilisation or other areas of underperformance as identified by the Chief Executive Officer. You will also act as a mentor to our existing headteachers, ensuring they receive training in areas as required.

You will need to be able to incisively diagnose the highest leverage actions which will further improve each school and support leaders in enacting change.

You will be someone who can refine existing systems and create new ones to ensure our trust is constantly recruiting and retaining the highest quality staff.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have been a successful Headteacher for a minimum of seven years;
  • Hold a strong track record of success in delivering excellent education in the secondary sector;
  • Have experience of financial budgets and using resources effectively;
  • Have proven success at leadership and building teams.

We have six secondary schools and one all-through school located across the West Midlands. As part of the role you will be required to travel across sites. We currently educate 7,200 pupils and employ 930 staff.
