The Role: 

Can your ideas and creativity drive our library to the next level? You will manage, operate and develop the Library, encouraging a love of reading across the wider school community and assist pupils with accessing resources. You will be responsible for organising a pupils book club as well as promoting and organising the biannual scholastic book fair.   

About you: 

This is a fantastic opportunity to thrive in an exciting and important role in our school community. Your key skills and requirements will include: 

  • Having a passion and interest in books and reading; 
  • Being able to work effectively with pupils in small groups assisting them with their reading; 
  • Having a good understanding and ability to use relevant technology e.g. iPads; 
  • Willingness to learn new skills and undertake relevant professional development.
