We are looking to appoint an Unqualified Teacher of MFL. We need someone who has a passion for languages and wants to inspire the next generation. To be truly ‘great’ you need an environment in which pupils genuinely want to learn. You will need to be determined to drive up standards, have a positive approach and be committed to making a difference.
In this role you will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing MFL lessons in line with the school curriculum (allocation of 15 hours per week whilst unqualified). You will need to ensure all pupils are working towards achieving the necessary progress in line with national standards and provide a secure and engaging learning environment.
About You:
To be considered for this role you will need:
- GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above in English and Maths (or equivalent);
- A relevant degree (2:2 honours degree or above or equivalent) / subject knowledge in subject area;
- The willingness to work towards Qualified Teacher Status and evidence the Teachers’ Standards in full via the Assessment Only route;
- The ability to work to create a learning environment that allows pupils to focus on learning.
